CardZap Support
We're here to help you get the most out of CardZap.
Getting Started
How do I scan a card?
- Open CardZap and tap the Scan tab.
- Allow camera access when prompted.
- Center the card in the frame on a flat, well-lit surface.
- Hold steady — CardZap will auto-detect and capture the card, or you can tap the shutter button.
- Review the identified card details and tap Save to add it to your collection.
Tip: For best results, use even lighting, avoid glare on glossy cards, and
keep the card flat against a contrasting background.
Subscriptions
How do I manage my CardZap Pro subscription?
Subscriptions are billed and managed by Apple through your Apple ID. To view,
change, or cancel:
- Open the Settings app on your iPhone or iPad.
- Tap your name at the top, then tap Subscriptions.
- Select CardZap from the list.
- Choose a different plan, or tap Cancel Subscription.
You can also manage your subscription from
apps.apple.com/account/subscriptions.
Cancellations take effect at the end of the current billing period.
How do I restore purchases?
If you previously subscribed and reinstalled the app or switched devices,
open CardZap, go to Settings, and tap
Restore Purchases. As long as you're signed into the same
Apple ID that made the original purchase, your Pro access will be restored.
Troubleshooting
- Card not recognized? Try better lighting, remove glare, and make sure the entire card is visible in the frame.
- Camera permission was denied: Go to iOS Settings → CardZap → Camera and enable access.
- Pricing looks off? Prices are based on recent eBay sold listings and can fluctuate. Tap a card to see the underlying comps.
- Lost data after reinstall? CardZap stores your collection on-device, so uninstalling removes local data. Tap Restore Purchases to bring back your Pro subscription.
